| I freelance as well as teach in SOEs and Government Depts through some private schools all of whom I have had more than 3 yrs experience with. Now most of my courses are repeats at the same institutions. I was teaching 40 or so hours but have cut back to 30 weekly. I clear 25 to 30,000 a month. Have a foriegn expert cert and residency. I will not work for a regular salary as it is too restricting and the schools think they own you. My way I can pick and choose the clients and am turning down offers all the time. |

Good comments on this one, thanks for submitting. For people with residency (are you married to a Chinese national?), it’s certainly best to not be tied to a school.
