I sincerely doubt this figure. No teacher in a 3rd city is making this kind of money.
You may be right; the number seems very high compared to other salaries reported in Wuxi. However, 40 hours/week might mean that they are working in an international program, at an international school, or doing specialized teaching. DiPont Education have a program in Wuxi, and their teachers can certainly earn that much.
